Singapore Science Park
Science Park Drive, Science Park Road
The Singapore Science Park is a Research & Development (R&D) & technology hub. Split into Science Park 1 and Science Park 2, the Singapore Science Park occupies a huge plot of land space and consists of many low rise buildings with high-tech specifications conducive for R&D and technology.
The close proximity to the National University of Singapore, the National University Hospital, Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE), various public research institutions and Singapore’s technology start-up community, makes it an ideal location for technology companies to set up their operations.
The Singapore Science Park will conduct a 5G smart estate trial – including the the testing of 5G-enabled Cellular Vehicle to Everything (C-V2X) technologies, which claims to be the first use-cases in Southeast Asia to develop and testbed intelligent mobility solutions in a commercial space. These projects are supported under a $40 million fund by IMDA and National Research Foundation to build an open and inclusive 5G innovation ecosystem. Read more.
Conveniently linked to major roads, highways and MRT networks, the business hub is easily accessible via public transport. In addition, the development also provides shuttle services to the nearby MRT stations, National University of Singapore and between Science Park 1 and 2.
